Job Summary

The City of Menden (Sauerland) is seeking an E-Government (DMS) and Process Management Officer to join their "Digitalization" team. This role is pivotal in driving the city's digital transformation, focusing on the implementation and management of a Document Management System (DMS) and optimizing administrative processes. The successful candidate will be responsible for introducing and maintaining the DMS across various departments, developing and testing digital workflows, and coordinating implementation efforts with internal teams and external service providers. A key aspect of the role involves training and supporting users, ensuring a smooth transition to digital processes. Additionally, the officer will analyze, document, and optimize administrative workflows with a strong emphasis on digitalization potential within the DMS. Education

Bachelor of Arts from a University of Applied Sciences for Public Administration/University for Police and Public Administration in "Municipal Administrative Service - Administrative Business Administration" OR Bachelor of Laws from a University of Applied Sciences for Public Administration/University for Police and Public Administration in "Municipal Administrative Service - General Administration" OR Diploma in Public Administration (FH) OR Completed training as an Administrative Assistant with successful completion of the First Employee Examination (AL/VL I) AND completion of Administrative Course II OR Successfully completed university degree (Bachelor, Diploma, Master) in (Administrative) Informatics or E-Government.

Experience

  • At least 1 year of professional experience in a municipal administration (required for certain academic backgrounds)
  • Experience in planning and executing projects (desirable)
  • Experience working with Document Management Systems (DMS) (desirable)

  • The position is part-time, covering half of the regular working hours.
