Job Summary
The City of Menden is seeking a dedicated professional to serve as the Staff Specialist for Financial Controlling and Organization, reporting directly to the Head of Planning and Building. This crucial role involves coordinating municipal committees, particularly the Planning and Building Committee, and managing organizational processes within the Environment, Planning, and Building department. Key day-to-day tasks include coordinating funding measures, executing comprehensive financial controlling, managing budgetary affairs for the department, and calculating essential services like sewage fees. The ideal candidate must hold a university degree (Bachelor of Laws or Arts) in Public Administration or Administrative Business Economics, or possess equivalent advanced administrative qualifications (Verwaltungslehrgang II). Success in this position requires a high degree of self-reliance, analytical rigor, strategic competence, and proven negotiation skills. Required Skills
Education
Bachelor of Laws or Arts degree in Municipal Administrative Service (General Administration or Administrative Business Economics) from a University of Applied Sciences for Public Administration, OR a Diploma in Administration (FH), OR completion of Administrative Training Course II (Verwaltungslehrgang II).
