Job Summary

This role involves leading and managing a nationwide User Help Desk for the German Federal Agency for Technical Relief (THW), a critical organization undergoing a fundamental IT restructuring. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, conceptualizing, coordinating, and overseeing the User Help Desk and the Tactical-Technical Operations Unit, ensuring smooth 24/7 operations, likely in a two-shift system. Key responsibilities include providing technical leadership to a team of IT specialists across multiple locations, managing IT processes, developing technical documentation, and ensuring secure IT operations. Required Skills

Education

Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Technical Computer Science, Communications Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Administrative Informatics, Business Informatics, or a comparable IT-related field. Alternatively, a completed vocational training with an IT focus.

Experience
