Job Summary

This role involves leading a significant peatland restoration project, the Maudacher Bruch, located in Ludwigshafen, Germany. The primary goal is to stabilize the water balance of this former fen to preserve the moor and prevent further carbon dioxide emissions, contributing to climate protection. Day-to-day, you will manage the project through phases 3 to 8 of HOAI, overseeing initial assessments, tendering for specialized planning, and coordinating construction projects. This includes developing foundational plans, detailed designs, and managing tenders for technical installations. You will also supervise environmental monitoring, manage plant removal and new plantings, and create a visitor guidance concept. The role requires strong project steering and client representation, involving communication with funding bodies, financial reconciliation, and public engagement.
