Job Summary

This role involves contributing to Germany's energy transition by accelerating the expansion of wind energy. The successful candidate will be responsible for processing approval procedures for wind energy plants under the Federal Immission Control Act (BImSchG), ensuring they are targeted, effective, efficient, and legally compliant. Day-to-day tasks include processing applications for the construction and operation of wind energy facilities, conducting approval procedures, and drafting orders, prohibitions, and decommissioning notices. The role also involves handling administrative offenses, appeals, and participating in legal proceedings, as well as addressing inquiries and complaints. Key qualifications include a relevant bachelor's degree in environmental science or public administration, knowledge of administrative enforcement, and strong German language skills. This position offers an opportunity to play a direct role in climate protection efforts in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern.

Required Skills

Education

Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Environmental Technology, Environmental Science (e.g., Industrial Environmental Protection, Environmental Engineering, Environmental Sciences, Land Cultivation, Environmental Protection, Natural Sciences), Public Administration, or successful completion of the Angestelltenlehrgang A II (Employee Training Course A II).

Experience

  • Professional experience in administrative enforcement, preferably in immission control or waste law
  • Experience with information technology applications (standard software)
