Job Summary

This role is for a dedicated Project Administrative Officer to manage the "MV Seagrass for climate" project, a crucial initiative focused on the restoration and monitoring of seagrass meadows in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern. The core responsibilities involve the financial execution and administrative coordination of this grant-funded project (ANK). Day-to-day tasks include managing budget reconciliation, handling fund requests and distribution to project partners, ensuring strict adherence to reporting obligations towards the federal ministry (BMUKN), and conducting project controlling. The officer will also support necessary environmental assessments, handle public relations (press releases, events), and develop a stakeholder management concept. Candidates must possess a Bachelor's degree in Public Administration, Business Administration, or a related field, along with strong organizational and IT skills (MS Office). Prior experience in managing grant projects is advantageous. This challenging, fixed-term position offers the opportunity to contribute directly to climate protection efforts within a modern, flexible state ministry environment.

Experience
