Job Summary

This role involves serving as the highest technical authority for a specific area of sensor technology within Technology Readiness Levels (TRL) 5-8, focusing on in-depth analysis and integration of production methods. The Principal Expert will be responsible for developing and implementing rules and standards for product commercialization, creating innovative solutions using new methods in a military prototype context, and preparing/conducting procurement processes. Key responsibilities also include advising BWI leadership, negotiating with various stakeholders, identifying strategic technological developments in the defense sector, and establishing processes for integrating TRL8 sensor technology into the BWI portfolio. This position requires strong expertise in sensor technologies, experience with prototype development, quality management, and excellent communication skills, often dealing with classified information.
