The University of Leipzig is seeking an experienced IT Architect to join its University Computing Center, the central IT service provider and digitalization enabler. This role involves comprehensive responsibility for the university's IT landscape, including planning, monitoring, and steering IT system and component architecture. Key tasks include modernizing applications, harmonizing HIS components, and ensuring IT security and data privacy. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in software development, analysis, and architecture, with a strong understanding of complex enterprise architectures, data governance, and various programming and web technologies. Required Skills
Education
University degree in Computer Science or equivalent relevant qualification
Experience
- At least five years of professional experience in software development, software analysis, and software architecture
- Experience in the conception, modeling, and mapping of complex enterprise architectures and software systems
- Experience in the analysis, reengineering, and extension of (web) applications
