Job Summary
The University of Leipzig is seeking a Project Assistant to support the Scientific Training of Teachers (wAL) program, a part-time role (50%) focused on administrative and financial management. Day-to-day responsibilities include comprehensive secretarial duties such as correspondence, scheduling, and minute-taking, alongside critical financial tasks. The assistant will manage budget administration and accounting according to donor specifications, including data maintenance, preparing draft reports, and handling procurement processes like ordering instructional materials, processing payments via the ELVI service portal, and obtaining comparative quotes in line with public procurement law. This role requires strong organizational skills, proficiency in German (C2 level), and a background in office administration or public service, offering a responsible position within a large, research-intensive university environment with flexible working hours and a supportive team.

Completed vocational training as an Office Management Clerk, Administrative Specialist, or at least equivalent relevant qualification
