This role involves supporting the University of Leipzig's extensive digital transformation by focusing on building and expanding a comprehensive Business Intelligence (BI) environment. The IT Specialist will be responsible for the systematic integration of ERP source data into the BI system, developing data models for the Data Warehouse, and configuring automated data imports. Day-to-day tasks include building and maintaining SQL-based databases (specifically PostgreSQL), creating interactive dashboards and reports, and collaborating with stakeholders like Controlling to define reporting requirements. The ideal candidate possesses a relevant university degree, extensive experience with BI tools, and proven professional experience in data analysis and visualization.
