Job Summary

This role involves critical maintenance and repair of high-voltage equipment within substations, ensuring a secure and reliable grid operation for 50Hertz, a key player in Germany's energy transition. The successful candidate will perform maintenance, repair, and diagnostic tasks on large transformers (e.g., 380 kV/110 kV/30 kV), circuit breakers, disconnectors, measuring transducers, and surge arresters in both air-insulated and gas-insulated switchgear. This includes executing repair projects like replacing individual components (pumps, fans, monitoring devices) and thoroughly testing functionality before commissioning. The position requires extensive travel throughout 50Hertz's network area, bringing specialized expertise where it's most needed.
