Job Summary

This critical role ensures rigorous adherence to environmental, nature protection, and quality standards across offshore operations and associated maritime infrastructure. The engineer acts as the local operational representative (ÖBB) for environmental protection, water protection, waste, and hazardous goods, advising management and driving strategic quality development. Daily responsibilities include monitoring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements, coordinating quality assurance systems (including SAP-PM/EHS), creating audit regimes (e.g., OHSAS), and collaborating closely with authorities and internal stakeholders. Key qualifications include a degree in environmental technology or a related engineering field, mandatory certification as an authorized representative for waste, water protection, and hazardous goods, and foundational knowledge of offshore high-voltage systems.
