Job Summary

The German Cancer Research Center (DKFZ) is seeking a motivated Postdoctoral Scientist for the Division of Translational Imaging in Oncology at the National Center for Tumor Diseases (NCT) Dresden. This role focuses on optimizing new cancer therapies through imaging and investigating novel radio-tracers, specifically in preclinical projects involving alpha-emitting nuclides for breast cancer. The successful candidate will conduct in vivo and in vitro experiments, including correlating PET imaging with histological analyses in rodent tumor models, performing cell binding studies, and investigating therapeutic effects using radioligands. Required Skills

Education

Master's degree and PhD in biology, biochemistry, or a related field

Experience

  • Experience with small animal handling and in vivo experiments
  • Experience with in vitro experiments and cell culturing
  • Professional experience in tumor therapy research
