Job Summary

The University Hospital Heidelberg (UKHD), a leading medical center in Germany, is seeking an IT Specialist for its Department of General Pathology and Pathological Anatomy. This role involves managing the clinical reporting system and overall IT infrastructure, including hardware and software, ensuring smooth operations by analyzing and resolving system malfunctions, and maintaining master data. The specialist will also be responsible for introducing innovations through testing, documentation, and implementation of new processes and software. Key responsibilities include providing application-specific training and consulting to medical staff, laboratory personnel, and scientists on various software, generating data evaluations and datasets, and serving as the primary internal contact for daily IT inquiries. This is a full-time, two-year limited contract position, offering a dynamic environment with modern technologies and interdisciplinary collaboration.
