Job Summary

This is an exciting opportunity for a Postdoctoral Fellow to join a leading research group at Heidelberg University Hospital, focusing on Hematology and Oncology. The core mission involves investigating the molecular mechanisms, specifically epigenetic dysregulation and epitranscriptomic modifications, that contribute to the pathogenesis and chemoresistance of Acute Myeloid Leukemia (AML). The role requires the planning and execution of complex in-vitro and in-vivo experiments, utilizing state-of-the-art techniques like Multi-Omics single-cell sequencing, CRISPR/CAS9, and advanced cell-molecular methods. The successful candidate will work collaboratively with biologists and medical scientists, aiming to translate experimental findings into novel treatment strategies for AML patients, while being supported in scientific publication and benefiting from Heidelberg's highly collaborative research infrastructure (NCT, DKFZ, EMBL).
