Job Summary
As a Systems Engineer for Airbus Helicopters in Donauwörth, you will be instrumental in supporting the German Armed Forces' NH90 NTH MRFH marine helicopter program. Your daily tasks will involve analyzing and evaluating technical and logistical inquiries, providing direct communication and responses to the Bundeswehr, and supporting the planning and execution of test requirements for modified helicopter avionics components. You will conduct and document system tests, maintain software tools and aviation simulations, and manage certification processes. This role is ideal for a professional with a strong background in aerospace, quality assurance, and a military background, offering a unique opportunity to contribute to critical defense projects and provide essential training to military personnel.
Required Skills
Education
Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Aerospace Engineering, or comparable qualification
Experience
- Several years of professional experience in aerospace
- Several years of professional experience in quality assurance
- Several years of professional experience in technical documentation
- Knowledge in avionics systems and/or aviation software system development
- Military background, preferably with the German Armed Forces and operational experience
- Relevant knowledge of regulations for certification and operation of NH90 Bundeswehr helicopters
