Job Summary

The Uniklinikum Würzburg is seeking a Medical Informatics Specialist to join their Service Center for Medical Informatics. In this role, you will be responsible for the comprehensive support of the central laboratory information system (swisslab) and other clinical systems within the Institute for Clinical Transfusion Medicine and Hemotherapy. This involves coordinating technical and functional requirements among medical staff, technical assistants, nursing staff, and external service providers. Additionally, you will contribute to the maintenance and new development of software tools for the laboratory environment. The ideal candidate will possess a degree in computer science or medical informatics, strong SQL database expertise, and excellent analytical and communication skills. Experience in programming and a clinical setting are advantageous, making this a challenging and rewarding opportunity within a supportive team.
