Job Summary

The Paul-Ehrlich-Institut is seeking a Scientific Project Collaborator to join their "Microbiological Safety" department, supporting a project within the "Competence Center for International Relations, WHO" division. This role involves providing expert microbiological advice for various national and international projects, particularly within the CARB-X and INCATE collaborations, which focus on combating antibiotic-resistant pathogens. The successful candidate will also assist with scientific and regulatory consultations concerning potential biomedical drugs and contribute to the organization and execution of workshops. This position offers a unique opportunity to work at a federal scientific institution involved in the testing and approval of vaccines and biomedical drugs, contributing to public health and scientific research in an interdisciplinary and multinational environment.

Required Skills

Education

Master's degree or equivalent in Life Sciences or Natural Sciences (e.g., Medicine, Biology, Biochemistry, Chemistry). A doctorate is advantageous.

Experience

  • Interest in the regulation and/or development of vaccines and/or biomedical drugs
  • Interest in the evaluation of clinical and preclinical studies
  • Experience working in interdisciplinary and multinational teams
