Job Summary

This role involves supporting the digitalization efforts of various departments, focusing on the analysis of analog processes and the development of digital solutions. The specialist will identify and implement digitalization potential, create feasibility studies, manage requirements, and prioritize IT development content. A key part of the role is planning, executing, and evaluating functional and technical tests, ensuring quality assurance, and managing changes in collaboration with product owners and IT service providers. This position offers a unique opportunity to shape the digital agenda within a federal agency, contributing to the modernization of administrative processes and exploring new technologies. It requires a proactive, analytical, and communicative individual who can work collaboratively with diverse internal and external stakeholders.

Required Skills

Education

Accredited university degree (Bachelor or Diploma) in law, administration, or economics; OR a degree as a Certified Administrative Specialist (Verwaltungsfachwirt); OR successful completion of preparatory service/promotion procedure for the higher non-technical administrative service.

Experience

  • Professional experience in digitalization and conceptual work (advantageous)
  • Knowledge of project management (advantageous)
  • Knowledge of software development processes, including change, contract, and test management (advantageous)
