Job Summary

This role involves designing converter systems, specifically focusing on the conceptual hardware setup and control cabinets for static converters used in single-phase railway networks, inverters for energy recovery, and controlled rectifiers for DC railways. The successful candidate will be responsible for defining internal and external interfaces, creating connection diagrams for converter system components, and specifying power connections based on current and voltage coordination. Additionally, the position supports the development of system protection concepts, coordinates low-voltage protection, and designs control and regulation cabinets, transformer control boxes, and other low-voltage components for railway power converters. Required Skills

Education

Completed technical vocational training in Electrical Engineering with a successful further qualification as an Electrical Technician.
