Job Summary

As a Materials Engineer specializing in plastics technology, you will develop and optimize plastic materials for technical applications, select and evaluate suitable plastics for products and components, and conduct material testing, failure analysis, and lifetime assessments. You will collaborate closely with interdisciplinary teams both domestically and internationally, and support the implementation of sustainability strategies from a materials perspective. The role requires a completed degree in materials engineering, plastics technology, or a related field, along with solid knowledge of polymer materials, compounding, and processing methods. Experience with standard testing and analysis methods such as DSC, TGA, and tensile testing is essential.
