Job Summary

Join the Chair of Technology Management at Kiel University's Kiel Institute for Responsible Innovation (KIRI) as a Research Associate working towards a PhD. You will contribute to the Excellence Cluster 'Precision Medicine in Chronic Inflammation PMI 2.0', specifically researching transdisciplinary innovation processes in real-world technology-based innovation networks. Your daily work includes conducting advanced empirical research (qualitative and quantitative), analyzing questions of justice, sustainability, and patient participation in medical research and innovation, and utilizing state-of-the-art behavioral science lab infrastructure. You will publish in leading journals, present at international conferences, and help shape the cluster's development. The position offers a unique research environment with excellent lab facilities, strong national and international networks, and close supervision for your PhD. It is funded until December 31, 2029, with a 75% part-time schedule (29.03 hours/week). Ideal for early-career researchers passionate about innovation management and interdisciplinary collaboration.

Required Skills

Education

Above-average Master's degree (or equivalent) in Business Administration, Economics, Industrial Engineering, Business Informatics, or related disciplines.

Experience
