Job Summary
This role involves managing overhead line construction projects for the transmission network, from the initial approval phase through to successful construction and handover. You will coordinate internal teams and external contractors, including experts, planners, and construction companies. Key responsibilities include contributing to planning and approval documents, developing technical and contractual tender documents, supporting procurement negotiations, and ensuring budget, schedule, and quality targets are met while proactively managing safety aspects. The position offers the chance to shape projects from start to finish, solve challenges creatively, and further develop your expertise within a team of skilled colleagues. Opportunities for regional relocation after onboarding are available.
Required Skills
Education
Completed degree in Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Environmental Technology/Planning, or comparable fields; OR Completed Master/Technician qualification in Electrical or Civil Engineering.
Experience
- Minimum 3 years of professional experience in overhead line planning and realization in a project management role (with a relevant degree)
- Minimum 5 years of professional experience in overhead line construction in a similar role (with a Master/Technician qualification)
- Professional experience in the energy industry, specifically with medium and high-voltage overhead lines
- Experience in coordinating internal teams and external contractors
