Job Summary
The Paul-Ehrlich-Institut, a federal scientific institution responsible for the testing and approval of vaccines and biomedical drugs, is seeking Regulatory Affairs Assistants for its Infectiology (INF) and Immunology (IMG) departments. In this role, you will support the coordination and management of regulatory procedures for applications related to clinical trials and drug approvals, both nationally and internationally. Key responsibilities include managing the document flow, monitoring deadlines, maintaining databases, and communicating with applicants, ethics committees, and internal departments. The position requires a Bachelor's degree in life sciences or biology, or a relevant vocational training in administration or medical documentation. Familiarity with clinical trial processes and drug law is desirable, alongside strong IT skills, resilience, and excellent communication abilities.
Required Skills
Education
Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Biology, or a comparable field with a focus on medical or pharmaceutical information science; OR completed vocational training in administration (e.g., Office Management), medical documentation, or a comparable qualification.
Experience
- Professional experience in regulatory affairs or a related administrative field.
- Experience in coordinating and managing procedures.
- Experience with electronic record keeping and database maintenance.
- Experience communicating with internal and external stakeholders.

- Interest in biological drugs and their approval. Resilience. Conscientious and meticulous work ethic. Good communication and teamwork skills. Hybrid work model (up to 60% remote). Three-year fixed-term contract. Part-time employment possible.
