Job Summary

The Fachhochschule Südwestfalen is seeking a Head of Central IT Services to lead a dedicated team at their Hagen campus. Required Skills

Education

Completed university degree (Bachelor or FH-Diplom) in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.

Experience

  • Leadership experience in personnel management
  • Experience in organizing, planning, and executing complex IT projects
  • Professional experience in IT services automation
  • Experience in managing and operating Linux and Windows server environments
  • Experience with container-based application operation (Docker/Kubernetes)
  • Experience with databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, Oracle) and SQL development
  • Experience with web and application servers (Apache, Tomcat, Wildfly)
  • Experience with identity and access management systems
  • Experience with network services, protocols, and topologies
  • Experience with cloud technologies and data center environments
