Job Summary
The South Westphalia University of Applied Sciences is seeking an IT Coordination Project Manager to join the Department of Agriculture at the Soest campus. In this role, you will lead the restructuring of IT services, providing expert consultation to the dean's office while evaluating current processes for future-proofing research and teaching. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include managing hardware and software deployment, maintaining IT security and data backup systems, and providing on-site technical support to faculty and staff. You will serve as a key liaison between the department and central university administration. This position is ideal for a service-oriented professional with a strong background in IT administration who thrives in a collaborative academic environment. You will be instrumental in ensuring the reliability and efficiency of the department's digital infrastructure, supporting both new and existing users with technical needs.
Required Skills
Education
Completed vocational training in an IT-related field (e.g., IT Specialist for System Integration) or a comparable qualification.
Experience
- Professional experience in IT administration or service desk environments
- Several years of professional experience in the IT sector preferred
- Experience in project work and organizational coordination
