Job Summary
Join a newly founded institute focused on sustainable hydrogen economy and become a key player in developing innovative hydrogen storage technologies. In this role, you will be responsible for the commissioning, maintenance, and calibration of various online and inline analyzers (e.g., IR, Raman, GC, MS, TDLAS) and other sensors in pilot plants. You will also prepare and execute measurement campaigns, conduct offline analyses, manage measurement data, and support the operation of chemical plants. This position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the energy transition and sustainability efforts within an interdisciplinary team, working on cutting-edge research and development with potential for long-term employment.
Required Skills
Education
Completed training as a Chemical Laboratory Assistant (Chemielaborant:in) or Chemical-Technical Assistant (CTA), or a comparable qualification
Experience
- Professional experience in analytical measurement techniques, preferably in gas phase analytics or process analytics
- Experience with commissioning, maintenance, and calibration of analyzers and sensors
- Experience with chemical laboratory or pilot plants is desirable
- Experience with hydrogen or other chemical hydrogen storage media is ideal
- Basic knowledge of equipment maintenance and calibration
- Basic knowledge of data documentation systems (e.g., LIMS, ELN) is advantageous

Additional
- Willingness for occasional business trips to support external measurement campaigns. Full-time position (39 hours/week). Potential for long-term employment after a 2-year fixed-term contract.
