Job Summary
This PhD position focuses on the cutting-edge development of scalable superconducting quantum systems, aiming to build the technological basis for usable quantum computing. You will be instrumental in designing, fabricating, and testing superconducting quantum circuits and devices. Key responsibilities include setting up cryogenic experimental systems, developing microwave quantum control and readout infrastructure, and writing Python code for system operation. You will conduct detailed experimental characterization of qubits, perform calibrations and benchmarking, and run quantum algorithms. This role offers a unique opportunity to work at the intersection of scientific research and engineering, contributing to advancements in quantum technology within a state-of-the-art research environment. The position requires a Master's degree in physics or electrical engineering, strong analytical skills, and a willingness to work in laboratory and cleanroom settings.
