Job Summary

Join the Federal Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs in Berlin as a Public Relations and CSR Officer for a one-year contract. In this role, you will contribute to implementing CSR initiatives, including corporate due diligence for human rights and environmental standards in supply chains. Your daily tasks will involve managing and developing the CSR Germany website and newsletter, writing online content, assisting with publications and communication measures, and handling administrative tasks related to procurement and grants. The position requires a university degree (Bachelor's or FH diploma) with a good overall grade, preferably in administrative, social, or communication sciences, or an equivalent vocational training. A minimum of two years of professional experience in project management, public relations, or service provider collaboration is essential, along with knowledge of budget, procurement, and grant law.

Required Skills

Education

University degree (Bachelor's or FH diploma) with a minimum 'good' grade in Administrative Sciences, Social Sciences, or Communication Sciences; OR a vocational training for the higher non-technical administrative service (Diplom-Verwaltungswirt*in or Bachelor) with a minimum 'good' grade; OR a further training as a Public Administrator (e.g., Verwaltungslehrgang II, Angestelltenlehrgang II) with a minimum 'good' grade.

Experience

  • Minimum of two years of professional experience in project management, public relations, or collaboration with service providers.
  • Experience in administrative processing of grants.
  • Experience in budget, procurement, and grant law.

Additional

  • Candidates must possess good English language skills, at least at B2 level of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR). Must have a valid work permit for Germany if not an EU citizen.
