Job Summary

The Federal Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs (BMAS) is seeking two Policy Advisors to join its 'Digital Labor Society Think Tank' in Berlin. In this role, you will analyze the technological implications of Artificial Intelligence and digitalization on the future of work, focusing on productivity, machine-human interaction, and skill requirements. Your day-to-day will involve steering research projects, managing stakeholder relations with social partners and international organizations, and coordinating technology policy strategies within the federal government. You will evaluate scientific findings and translate them into actionable policy recommendations or funding measures for SMEs. Required Skills

Education

University degree (Master, Magister, or University Diploma) in Economics, Social Sciences, or Political Science with a grade of at least 'good'.

Experience

  • At least 2 years of professional experience in the context of digitalization, AI, labor, social, technology, or innovation policy
  • Practical experience in steering complex projects including budget management
  • Demonstrated experience in interdisciplinary cooperation with external stakeholders, including at the international level
  • Proven experience in processing scientific findings for diverse audiences and government processes
