Job Summary

Join the Federal Waterways and Shipping Administration as an Electronics Technician for Information and System Electronics. In this role, you will be responsible for the planned maintenance, servicing, and repair of radio, cable, video, and transmission technology, as well as level and telephone systems for the Elbe and Spree-Havel waterways. Your daily tasks will involve performing regular preventive maintenance, diagnosing and replacing faulty components, and documenting issues using technical diagrams and software. This position requires a completed vocational training in electronics or IT systems electronics, coupled with knowledge of radio technology, transmission systems, and telephone/video systems.
