Job Summary

This role involves managing and supporting chemical and hydraulic laboratories within the Faculty of Civil Engineering. Key responsibilities include ensuring the functionality of equipment, managing chemicals and supplies, and overseeing various instrumental and apparatus-based analysis methods. You will also prepare and conduct chemistry practical sessions for students, guide them through experiments, and assist with teaching activities and thesis work, including method development and result interpretation. Additionally, you'll be involved in organizing and running experiments for public events like "Boys and Girls Day". The position requires a qualified chemical laboratory technician or equivalent, with knowledge of chemical/physical methods, analytical work, and ideally hazardous materials handling. Proficiency in MS Office and data evaluation is also necessary.

Experience
