Job Summary

This role at the Technology Campus Mainburg involves establishing a new independent research focus in building energy technology, sustainable construction, or digitalization/AI within building services. As a Research Associate, you will conduct scientific research on current trends, develop strategic roadmaps for the research field, and design new research projects. You will be responsible for building applied research infrastructure, including laboratory and field testing systems, to facilitate technology transfer with industrial partners. Additionally, you will identify funding opportunities, draft research proposals, and secure third-party funding. The position also includes authoring scientific publications, presenting at conferences, participating in teaching, and supervising students and their final theses. This is a 2-year fixed-term contract offering a modern workspace within Bavaria's most research-intensive university of applied sciences, featuring flexible working hours and opportunities for doctoral studies.
