Job Summary

This role is for a Research Associate focusing on nanoscale magnetic phenomena induced by ions and femtosecond laser pulses, suitable for a PhD candidate or a Postdoc. The successful candidate will leverage HZDR's extensive research facilities to prepare and characterize magnetic thin-film alloys, observing their magneto-optical and structural behavior under irradiation. Key responsibilities include collaborating with partners, modeling and analyzing experimental results, proposing new experiments, and publishing findings in scientific journals and conferences.
