Postdoctoral Researcher - Computational and Translational Analysis of Pulmonary Nodules | Postdoctoral Researcher - Computational & Translational Analysis of Pulmonary Nodules
Deutsches Krebsforschungszentrum
Job Summary
This postdoctoral researcher position focuses on the computational and translational analysis of pulmonary nodules within the PRELUNG study, aiming for early lung cancer detection. The role involves leading unbiased, data-driven integration of spatial transcriptomics, genomic data, histopathology, and radiomic features to interpret nodule states and discover biomarkers for liquid biopsy and PET tracer development. A key aspect is the patient-centered translational research, including co-designing a framework for returning molecular and imaging data to study participants. The ideal candidate will have a PhD in a relevant computational or biological field, strong experience in omics data analysis (especially spatial transcriptomics), proficiency in R and/or Python, and experience with unsupervised learning. Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills are crucial for effective collaboration with diverse stakeholders, including patients, clinicians, and scientists.
