Job Summary

Join the Office for Information Technology and Digitization in Karlsruhe as an IT Security Analyst. In this role, you will be a key player in analyzing and assessing security warnings and threat landscapes, coordinating measures to fix vulnerabilities, and overseeing vulnerability scans and penetration tests. You will also contribute to IT emergency management, ensuring quick resolution of disruptions and system stability. Your responsibilities include documenting IT infrastructure, processes, and security architectures, and supporting system changes within the change management framework. This position offers a permanent contract, full-time or part-time (tandem) employment, with payment up to E 13 TVöD. The role requires a degree in Computer Science or a related field, or a qualified vocational training as an IT specialist with relevant experience. Strong knowledge of BSI IT-Grundschutz, GDPR, IT security laws, and IT security components is essential. Excellent communication skills in German (C2) and good English skills (B2) are also required.
