Job Summary

This role is for a Customer Support Engineer specializing in switching technology for Airbus Secure Land Communications. The successful candidate will be responsible for the operation and maintenance of digital switching systems, including analyzing and resolving voice switching and signaling issues. Key tasks involve configuring and parameterizing switching centers, performing software upgrades and patches, and collaborating on projects to introduce new services and platforms within Tetra and digital radio networks. The position requires strong technical expertise in digital switching, ideally with DXT systems, and good knowledge of mobile communication technologies. This is an excellent opportunity for a professional to contribute to critical mobile communication solutions for public safety networks, working closely with customers and project teams in a dynamic environment.

Required Skills

Education

Degree in Computer Science or comparable qualification, or completed vocational training as an IT System Electronics Technician with many years of experience.

Experience

  • Several years of professional experience with IT / Information Systems
  • In-depth knowledge of digital switching technology, ideally with practical experience on DXT systems (Nokia)
