Job Summary

As a Fiber Optic Technician, you will be responsible for the installation, configuration, and commissioning of fiber optic networks. Your day-to-day tasks will involve laying, splicing, and connecting fiber optic lines (excluding civil engineering work), assembling fiber optic splices and network components, and performing measurements (OTDR, attenuation) and documentation. You will also be involved in the certification of fiber optic routes, troubleshooting, and maintenance of existing infrastructure, ensuring all work is performed cleanly and according to standards. The role requires manual dexterity, good technical understanding, basic tool handling skills, and a meticulous, reliable, and accurate work approach. While prior experience in fiber optics or cable construction is a plus, the company welcomes career changers and provides comprehensive training.
