Job Summary

This role involves managing environmental and sustainability-focused grant projects within the Brandenburg State Office for Environmental Affairs (LfU). You will be responsible for processing grant applications, overseeing approved projects from application to final reporting, and ensuring compliance with budgetary, administrative, and grant laws. This includes handling complex environmental projects, contributing to the revision of financial reporting concepts, and supporting the processing of income and payments. You will also advise other departments on grant applications and administration. The position is fixed-term until January 2027, offering a transparent salary based on TV-L Entgeltgruppe 10, 30 days of vacation, and flexible work arrangements including home office options. Required Skills

Education

Completed (technical) university studies or Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Administration, Administrative Science, Public Administration, Business Administration, Law, or comparable fields.

Experience

  • Completed (technical) university studies or Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Administration, Public Administration, Business Administration, Law)
  • Basic knowledge of budgetary, grant, and administrative law
  • Ideally, experience in administrative and budgetary grant processing in the State of Brandenburg
  • Proficiency in standard software (MS Word, MS Excel, MS Outlook)
  • Ideally, experience with electronic record keeping (preferably VIS) and SAP accounting software
