Job Summary

The University of Rostock is seeking a Specialist Engineer in Electrical Engineering and Building Management Systems to ensure the smooth operation of its diverse buildings, including technically advanced research and teaching laboratories. This role involves close collaboration with operational technology departments, focusing on electrical systems, elevators, measurement and control technology (MSR), fire alarm systems (EMA), and general building management systems (GMA). The successful candidate will be responsible for defining technical requirements for construction projects, overseeing their implementation, conducting technical reviews of project documentation, and managing contracts within their area of expertise. They will also plan and execute regular inspections of assigned systems, assess energy-saving measures, and provide critical support during emergencies, such as operating 20 kV systems.
