Job Summary
This role offers a unique opportunity for a doctoral candidate to contribute to cutting-edge research in reliable software and distributed systems at the Bergische Universität Wuppertal. The successful candidate will independently advance program analysis tools, participate in the SV-COMP community, and support teaching in Computer Science at both Bachelor and Master levels. The role focuses on ensuring the function and IT security of software systems through testing and formal methods, and contributing to the reliability and scalability of IT systems.

Master's degree or equivalent in Computer Science or Business Informatics
Experience
- Professional experience in software development within a team
- Experience with program analysis tools (desirable)
- Experience presenting research findings at international conferences (desirable)

- This is a qualification position intended to promote a doctoral procedure. The position is limited to the duration of the doctoral procedure, initially up to 3 years, with a possible extension within the limits of the WissZeitVG for the completion of the doctorate. Full-time position, part-time possible upon request.
