This role involves the independent planning, tendering, and local construction supervision of coastal and flood protection projects, as well as river development initiatives. Key responsibilities include creating detailed plans, managing tendering processes, overseeing construction, and handling project invoicing. The ideal candidate will possess a degree in Civil Engineering with a focus on water management or civil engineering, coupled with a strong understanding of construction contract law, public procurement law, and engineering contract law. Proficiency in standard office software and specialized engineering tools like GIS, AutoCAD/Civil3D, and AVA programs is highly valued. Required Skills

Education

University of Applied Sciences (FH) or Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering with a focus on Water Management, Civil Engineering, or a comparable field.

Experience

  • Professional experience in planning, tendering, and construction supervision of flood protection and river development projects.
  • Experience with water and dike law approval procedures is beneficial.
  • Experience with engineering-specific software (GIS, AutoCAD/Civil3D, AVA programs, e-procurement platforms) is advantageous.
