Job Summary

The Federal Office for Logistics and Mobility (BALM) is seeking a dedicated Branch Office Manager for its Mainz location. This role involves leading the branch, coordinating daily operations across departments, and overseeing control and enforcement services related to logistics and mobility. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and managing control services, making high-level decisions, and implementing directives from the central office. They will also represent BALM externally and collaborate with local employee representatives. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership, communication, and strategic thinking skills, with a proven ability to motivate and guide teams. Required Skills

Education

University Diploma or Master's degree in Law, Administrative Sciences, or Economics; or equivalent qualifications and experience; or Civil Service qualification for the higher non-technical administrative service of the Federal Government (for lawyers, administrative scientists, or economists).

Experience

  • Several years of leadership experience in managing organizational units (personnel and organizational)
  • Professional experience in cooperative and goal-oriented leadership and motivation of employees
  • Proven experience in general administrative services, preferably in a specialist or leadership role within public administration
