Job Summary

This role involves supporting the management team within the Electrical Engineering department at the Elbe-North Sea Waterways and Shipping Office (WSA). The specialist will be responsible for the planning and maintenance of electrical systems, including troubleshooting and repair work on electrotechnical facilities and watercraft. A key part of the job includes initiating and overseeing inspections of mandatory monitoring systems and work equipment, as well as maintaining and creating risk assessments (Gefährdungsbeurteilungen). The ideal candidate must be a certified Electrical Technician or Master Electrician, qualified as a skilled electrical worker (Elektrofachkraft), and possess strong German language skills (C1 level). This is a full-time, permanent position based in Wedel, offering the opportunity to contribute to the sustainability and functionality of vital waterways.
