Job Summary

The Ernst Ruska-Centre (ER-C) is seeking a motivated Postdoctoral Researcher to join their team in Jülich. In this role, you will dedicate two-thirds of your time to supporting the RIANA project, acting as a scientific and technical expert. Your daily responsibilities include performing feasibility assessments, designing TEM-APT experiments, preparing samples using FIB, and conducting data analysis to support internal and external users. The remaining one-third of your time is protected for your own independent research, specifically focusing on correlative microscopy and the TOMO project. Ideal candidates hold a PhD in physics or materials science and possess hands-on experience with dual-beam FIB and Atom Probe Tomography.
