Job Summary

As a Lighting Management Engineer for the City of Kiel, you will play a pivotal role in transitioning the city's street lighting operations to in-house management. Your day-to-day responsibilities will involve strategic infrastructure planning, optimizing operational workflows, and implementing sustainable lighting concepts. You will lead Smart City projects, manage budgets, coordinate with external engineering firms, and oversee the procurement and commissioning of lighting systems. Required Skills

Education

Completed university degree (Bachelor or FH-Diploma, minimum 6 semesters) in Electrical Engineering, Energy Engineering, Information and Communication Technology, or Civil Engineering.

Experience

  • Professional experience in street lighting systems
  • Professional experience in civil engineering or road construction
