Job Summary

This is a comprehensive 2-year entry program designed for ambitious graduates looking to transition into specialized Engineering roles within the future of global mobility. The core focus involves the static and dynamic commissioning of sophisticated rail vehicles and their complex subsystems, including networks, passenger information systems, safety devices, power converters, and climate control. Day-to-day tasks will include rigorous troubleshooting, vehicle diagnostics during commissioning and warranty phases, verifying electrical installations, and managing software downloads and validation in collaboration with the Engineering department. Candidates must possess a degree in Systems Engineering, Mechatronics, or Electrical Engineering and demonstrate a strong affinity for practical, hands-on technical work. This role offers the chance to gain deep technical expertise in a supportive, qualified team environment at a leading company, with a requirement for approximately 20% travel.

Required Skills

Education

University degree (FH / ETH / TU) in Systems Engineering, Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field

Experience

  • Professional experience in practical technical activities is mandatory
  • Experience in troubleshooting and vehicle diagnostics during commissioning and warranty phases
  • Completed apprenticeship in the electrical field is an advantage
