Job Summary

This demanding role involves the static and dynamic commissioning of cutting-edge rail vehicles and their complex subsystems, including networks, doors, HVAC, and pneumatic equipment. You will be instrumental in supporting critical probe and type test drives, collaborating closely with engineering teams and customers, while ensuring the absolute technical safety and operational status of the vehicles throughout the testing period. Key responsibilities include performing hardware checks, managing vehicle-specific software downloads, and supporting the final validation runs. This position requires either a technical vocational qualification or a degree in Electrical Engineering or Mechatronics, coupled with experience in commissioning or plant construction. The successful candidate must be prepared for extensive international travel (80-100%) and possess strong communication skills in both German and English (B2 level).
