Job Summary

Join the Institute of Molecular Oncology at Philipps-Universität Marburg as a Research Associate and PhD candidate to contribute to a DFG-funded project focused on decoding TP53 mutations for precision oncology. In this role, you will conduct cutting-edge research using CRISPR-based saturation genome editing, perform pooled functional screens with high-throughput sequencing, and utilize single-cell transcriptomics to analyze variant-specific phenotypes. You will be responsible for developing quantitative assays to study cancer-related signaling pathways and integrating multidimensional datasets. The position offers a unique opportunity to work in a highly collaborative, international environment, providing you with the resources to pursue your own doctoral qualification in tumor biology. Ideal candidates are highly motivated researchers with a strong background in molecular biology, genetics, or biochemistry, possessing the technical expertise to bridge the gap between wet-lab experimentation and bioinformatics data analysis.
