As a Digital Transformation Change Manager for the City of Stuttgart, you will act as a key driver of organizational change. You will plan and steer city-wide transformation processes, supporting major projects like the implementation of electronic filing systems. Your day-to-day work involves developing change management formats, coordinating the 'Digital Mover' network of digitalization scouts, and managing internal communication strategies to ensure all employees are informed. You will serve as an internal consultant, presenting project results to executive management and the city council. This role is ideal for someone passionate about public sector digital transformation who possesses strong conceptual skills, empathy, and the ability to navigate complex stakeholder landscapes. You will be part of an integrated team that places people at the center of every digital project, making this a high-impact position within the municipal administration.

Required Skills

Education

Master's degree or equivalent (Diplom) in Economics, Social Sciences, or Public Administration. Candidates with comparable qualifications and relevant experience are also encouraged to apply.

Experience

  • Several years of professional experience in supporting organizational change processes
  • Several years of professional experience in the operational execution of projects
  • Experience in public administration is desirable
